The consulting operations of the Assima Group specialize in project management, change management and training services, ensuring that our clients’ IT Change projects deliver. THE JOB
The job will be based in central London for the first six months and then move to Copenhagen, Denmark, on a permanent basis to support the Scandinavian countries. The role is involved in prototyping, implementation and support of Assima technological solutions for prospective and existing clients. The role will provide support to, and assist internal and external Clients in the creation of content using Assima Technologies. The successful candidate will be required to participate in external client projects, both on- and off-site. Appropriate and ongoing training as required, in both the Assima products and associated project management and training skills, will be provided. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES • Provide “First-Class” support and solutions • Resolve technical issues to satisfaction of internal/external clients • Maintain and update the Support Centre (help desk) promptly and efficiently • Creatively seek out alternatives to potential issues and/or barriers • Creation of Prototypes for potential and existing clients • Develop and maintain Demo materials • Anticipate and address potential issues affecting the production of project deliverables and the achievement of objectives/deadlines • Provide feedback to management team regarding Assima solutions and issues raised at prospective project sites. • Escalate client feedback appropriately • Train internal and external clients in the use of Assima products • Provide in-depth technical analysis and support at all stages of the project lifecycle from prototyping through to delivery of a completed project, as required by the project • Develop project deliverables within budgeted time, to project standards and within project timelines • Prioritises and manages work independently, reports progress versus budget accurately and as per required standards and escalates problems in a timely manner • Interact professionally at all times with clients and colleagues EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s level degree preferred with concentration in one of the following areas: Business Administration, Communications, Computer Science, and/or Management Information Systems. Advanced degree in related field desirable. • Minimum of 6 month’s related experience KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED OR DESIRABLE • Technical skills: Extensive knowledge of concepts of computer applications and appropriate business systems. Ability to develop a thorough understanding of Assima solutions and the impact of implementing the solution on diverse client sites. Implementation of technical solutions require the following skills: • MS Office • HTML • Ability to install & configure various software packages • Good working knowledge of PC operating systems Working knowledge of some of the following products would be an advantage: • STT, OnDemand, X.Hlp • JavaScript • ODBC connections, MDAC • Windows 2000/3 - Server / Pro, XP • TCP/IP, Networking concepts • Client server infrastructure • Basic Active Server Pages / VB Script • Fluent in Danish would be highly desirable. • Good written and oral communication skills. • Ability to work under time pressure and without direct supervision. • Excellent problem-solving skills. • Good customer-facing skills. Ability to establish positive relationships and project credibility with client contacts and project team members. • Able to effectively train new and existing users on all aspects of developing and deploying Assima solutions (appropriate training will be given where necessary). • Recognised Project Management skills desirable. • Some consulting experience desirable.
