Dynamic and business-minded partner wanted to set up SØRENSEN – Connecting Markets in the UK
SØRENSEN – connecting markets was founded in 1994 with the main purpose of helping small and medium-sized enterprises to start up and expand in new markets. In addition to the Scandinavian markets, we have operations in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.
We have serviced the UK market through a British consultant for the past few years, but we now want to intensify our activities here and are therefore looking for a dynamic and business-minded partner to set up our own UK office and implement our comprehensive and proven business and sales concept.
The office’s main tasks will be marketing and selling expansion projects with Scandinavia as the target market, as well as project management further down the line for projects with the UK as the target market.
You are energetic and have the ability to adapt your way of thinking to match our own and that of our customers both on an operational and strategic level in relation to our range of services, which consists of strategy development and export preparation/follow-up, market research, partnering and support and advice on setting up companies.
As a future partner, you also have knowledge and understanding of the mechanisms available to businesses expanding into new markets, as well as experience and a talent for consultancy and selling knowledge-based services.
The collaboration will entail a franchise partnership after a short start-up period, so you must want to join a network of international partners at a high level. You should also want to develop your own business or restructure your existing activities and be prepared to employ staff once the level of activity increases. We are looking for a partner who will give 100% to SØRENSEN’s activities in the market.
Professional qualities You possess the following professional abilities: • relevant experience in the area and a comprehensive knowledge of the Scandinavian and UK markets • knowledge of expansion into new markets: strategy and an understanding of the market • proven sales results • an understanding of the working processes and culture of small businesses/groups of consultants • a good knowledge of languages – written and verbal fluency in Danish or other Scandinavian languages is essential • leadership abilities
Personal qualities Your personal qualities are extremely important: • you are proactive and goal oriented when it comes to achieving results • you are motivated by challenges, targets and results and can juggle several tasks at once • you get along with all types of people and understand the art of establishing relationships and creating trust • you understand that the customer’s results constitute your success • you want to run your own company following a proven concept and enter into international collaboration
Our concept Our concept includes all the tools for running a successful business. It is as much about internal factors such as sales and lead management, economic conditions, human resource tools, etc. as it is about external factors such as marketing material, sales concepts, etc.
